My youngest sister just lives on neetbux now.
She got a temporary job "with excellent chances of full time employment" with a limited salary and the moment she finished her six weeks they dropped her and hired another zoomer with the same limited shit.

i do have an entry level job but its in a completely different field than what i want which is engineering. there is a really good chance that engineering might just be totally cooked. im hoping that by the time i finish my degree (33) ill have a much better picture of how things look. if its cooked, ill just go into pure math and become a professor or something and live a chill life.

Forget zoomers in the West, once AI and robots fully take over labor, it won't be the Western zoomers who have the problem, it'll be China that gets utterly fucked.
The only reason the global economy kept inflation low for the past two decades is because China acted as the world's sweatshop, exploiting slave-tier wages to mass-produce cheap shit for everyone else.
But once AI-powered robots start replacing human labor across the board, why the hell would anyone invest in China or build factories there anymore? When automation goes global, China's entire economic engine collapses.
No one needs a billion underpaid factory drones when a few automated lines can do it faster, cheaper, and without political headaches.

I am studying Stem. Used to the think I'll will do some more theoretical stuff and then pivot to some data/IT shit later on. Now I did a 180° and strongly focus on applied lab skills. Basically any advanced technique that will still require human handling and input.
