I hate it when retards name their daughters masculine names, and over time those masculine name become associated with femininity, see what happened to 'Taylor', 'Lindsey', 'Ashley'.

I knew about Taylor, but not Lindsey or Ashley. Thought the latter two were always feminine.

The name 'Ashley' means 'one who dwells near the Ash tree' in Old English. Ashley began to be used as a common male given name because of a rich man who did a lot of charity work in 19th century Britain, name Lord Ashley.

The name 'Lindsey' comes from the Scottish clan name and surname, which in turn comes from the Old English name for the city if Lincoln, meaning 'Island of Lind', 'Lind' was the old Celtic name for Lincoln.

Ashley is used almost exclusively for girls in America.
