Did you know Italians, nafris and syrians are more native to England than actual Anglo-Saxons?

Actually the reason no latin derived words from before the normand conquest of England exist in modern English today was because Romans weren't numerous, they still were vastly outnumbered by celts and weren't wide spread and dominant all over the country but stuck closely to their few small urban centers in the south and latins was the language of administration and the elite and the majority of the country, the celts, did not bother to learn it because the Romans were not numerous enough to enforce it.
