The first time I heard of this, it was in convenience stores and take-out restaurants in L.A. and New York where a nice Filipina is on the screen and does order taking, answers basic questions, and pages people working in the back if she can't solve the customer's problem remotely. I think the sudden negative reaction now has to do with the fact that (((they))) replaced Filipinas with Indians.
