i want to learn finish but only 5 million peepoos speak it
The thing is i am literally retarded and it would be more usefull to learn spanish or portugese or arabic or chinese. But i really like finnish language but what is the point? it´s like learning Latin a dead language because finish peepoos dont reproduce. Do you also want to learn a dead language in your country?

No language is useful to learn unless you have the interest and the will to do so. If you're only learning a language because of its perceived usefulness (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, French), quitting will almost always be the end result.

Since you like Finnish you should learn it if you really want to or if you want to learn another agglutinative language then maybe Korean, Hungarian, Turkish, Japanese etc.

Don't try to learn a language because it's "useful" or because a lot of people speak it unless you need to for a job. Otherwise you might as well learn Hindi, and do you really want to do that? Learn something because you want to, that's a lot more enriching.

My dad told me that German, after English, is the most useful language for STEM purposes, which is probably still the case. Southern German sounds beautiful, and as much as I like the Dutch, all those deep gutturals give my stomach a bad turn. Norwegian newscasters sound surprisingly like American Midwesterners. From what I've seen of Portuguese in a favorite film subtitled in it, it's a surprisingly compact and efficient language, moreso than Spanish, if not nuanced as English is in everyday usage. But then English is tops when it comes to that measure.

The reason to study Latin is to read Latin literature. Delve into the classics, you know?
The reason to study Finnish is so you can shitpost on Ylilauta.
