Internationally speaking, the best years to be born were 1994-1996, right smack dab in the middle of the 90s. Not too lame and millenial-ish like the 80s and early 90s and not cringe and retard zoomers like the late 90s and beyond.

If you wanted to expirience the "comfy" 90s as a kid you had to be born in the late 80s early 90s

Parents were obsessed with cram schools, and teachers would hit students if they couldn't memorize English words. In a stuffy school classroom, students would be pulled by their hair and beaten if they walked in the "hallway only for teachers." The meme about studying for 18 hours mostly came from students of that time. Many webtoons about bullying culture memes (Bread shuttle) are based on that period. The music by 2NE1 and Big Bang, which was popular during school years back then, might be some of the most terrible and horrifying music made by manlets and cringe plastic pp

In hindsight the 2000s until around 2007 when the iPhone was released were an extension of the 90s

It's called Zillenial. I was born in 96, I mostly lean on 2000's and early 2010's as being better culturally. With some 80's and 90's holdover things (especially in Eastern Europe dragging behind).

Zillenials are the 360 noscope jonne's, though.
Millenials didn't appreciate this degeneration.
