This isn't actually true either though, Finland was the only part of Russian Empire with valuable human beings since the rest was inhabited by Slavs. You could therefore argue that Finland was the only part of the Empire that mattered and you would be absolutely correct, serfish cockroach people have no value and never will.

As an outsider ignorant of European history, I believe this is purely because Finns look down on Russians as poor and backward, while viewing Swedes as wealthy and superior compare to Finland. Historical facts hold little significance for them. For example, Americans are tolerant of the Brits, Germans, and French, who mock and slander them, but show no such generosity to non-white people. Americans are tolerant to a certain extent of criticism from Europeans about the US, Americans, or American culture, but they are unconditionally dismissive of criticism from non-white people such as Asians.

You seem to be classifying Russia and Russians in the same way the Nazis classified races. I have no positive feelings toward Russia, as the USSR's involvement in the Korean War started it. Look at the mainstream American media. Whenever they criticize the US, they always cite Germany, Switzerland, or Northern Europe as prime examples. However, I don't find it strange that white Americans, the majority ethnic group, show affection for Europe, the continent of their ancestors. For example, if South Korea and a major Western European ally were to face difficulties simultaneously, I wouldn't expect the White House to be the first to offer support for us. And this dilemma is precisely why South Korean government is investing so much manpower and capital in military technology development.

Well it has to do with the war, and the fact that Finns lost Karelia, now you wouldn't know this, but Karelia was the heartland of the Finnish people. Now barely anyone lives there.
