The most conventional city, diversified economy, variety of scenes and people, kind of boring because of that. Just Chicago but in Texas.

More "peak Texas." Huge amounts of sprawl, deep ties to the oil industry, considered quite ugly and an example of suburban maximalism. The most ghetto of the 3 as well. More a place to make money and get out than anythingelse.

"San Francisco, but in Texas." Rife with progressivism, hipsters, hippies, tech yuppies, simultaneously more sophisticated but also more homelessly and antifa-like.

Austin is the only walkable Texas city with an identity along with San Antonio. Dallas and Houston are corporate goyslop and the only reason to live there is to make heaps of money and then bolt.
