I can't speak for indians but for latinx is a mixture of
1- many latin believe they are white because they are mixed and recall their european ancestry
2- simply recognizing brown inferiority, brown people has very few things to pride themselves for and often hate their own looks, so they wish they were white, and if they cant, at least they feel like offering themselves to white supremacy to ammend their existence.
3-some think it helps them fit arround white people to shill for them
