Most Americans have become extremely blackpilled, exhausted, and nihilistic about politics here for obvious reasons given we have no real options and we've all realized that apart from the Boomers and a plurality of the Milennials. As for the rest of the world, they're either freaking out or salivating over the prospect of the U.S rotting away in real time and sinking before their very eyes. Europe is losing their shit due to the unending migrant crisis and the specter of Russia rising again in the East while Asia is trying to figure out what to do about China given U.S leadership has been full retard for a decade now.
All while underlying, existential first-world problems go unsolved and every institution and government everywhere are bloated, rotten corpses full of kleptocrats and WEF cargo cult retards. So yeah, people in developed countries are fucking angry at everything right now, and for good reasons.

From the inside though, it feels a lot like what I bet most normie Russians felt about the decline and fall of the USSR while it was happening in the 80s, with there being this dark sense of acceptance and realization that your country and its empire peaked a while ago and is now exponentially rotting to death as its gerontocratic leadership literally whithers on the vine with it.
Passionate defenders and true believers of the regime and its professed mythologies and ideologies are few and far between and the few that still do exist are treated as a joke by the general public, everything that happens (whatever it is) is completely out of our control, and that happening could be anything anywhere. It's this grim sense of resignation and nihilism that's completely pervasive, the "it is what it is" mindset dominating as there aren't even any utopians, reformers, or extreme radicals out there, at least none that could save us our stall the decline.
