Wtf is romanian about? I'm a burger im bucharest for work and I can literally understand all street signs, announcements, place names etc. at a glance. Nobody told me romanian was just english spelt weird

i'm not an expert on british history but romance speakers clearly weren't very established in britain at any time period
when anglo saxons moved into modern day england the people who fled from there were celtic speaking bretons and not any romance language speaking peoples

English is 29% Latin/29% French words, Romanian is a romance language so they share some words.
