Every ethnic group or nation started from 0. At some point, it has to begin. In Brazil, we have 200 years, which is very little compared to others, but it is ours, and we should be proud of what we have achieved in 200 years. If India has a thousand years, I don't know how many, at some point in history, it had one year.

This. I never got the feeling of pride for non-accomplishments. Like, I like myself and and can appreciate my physical traits, but I wouldn't be proud of it.
