Were Germans the bad guys in WWI like they were in WWII?

This. We attacked Russia to save Europe from the menace that would have been an industrialized Russian Empire, we even sent them Lenin to give them communism to make sure they would always lag behind the West economically in the future.
At the same time we also attacked Britain and France out of altruism to free the peoples they had enslaved all over the globe.
Alas that part did not work out as well and it took another world war to actually free their colonial subjects but in the end it was a success.
Germany itself may have suffered a great deal to achieve this but I think it was a worthy sacrifice for the greater good.

There was more co-aggression in WW1. The main culprits were Germany, Russia, Austro-Hungary together. France/UK got dragged in due to Russia more than anything else. Notice these are all non-colonial powers, it was basically a big autismfest from pent up angry continental powers while France/UK were too busy babysitting their vast holdings.

Nigga France was one of the most enthusiastic about this war happening.
Ever since the 1871 war French people were hoping for a chance of revenge, Revanchisme was a very strong political movement in France for 20 years afterwards and also the main reason why France tried so hard to woo the Russians into an alliance in the first place.

Yeah. Look up our population pyramid in 1910, patents, inventions, economic growth etc. Germany was itching for a war because it was dying or something.
