What is the absolute worst state (or other subdivision) in your country?
Here it's Victoria. Just violent immigrants and lefties fawning about nonexistent 'culture' in Australia's bleakest climate zone. Visiting Melbourne made Perth seem nice by comparison.

I think Birmingham should qualify, as it's the only 1m+ city in the country other than London and an absolute shithole

It's bordered by some of England's loveliest rural areas too, so the shittiness really stands out

Depending on who you ask, it's either South Holland or Groningen.

Everyone and their father knows Amsterdam is just one big tourist trap for drug-and-sex-loving suckers coming to contribute to keeping our meticulous tax-system tolerable at best.

Though Groningen is the poorest, least culturally rich, part of the country filled with the closest thing we have to Communists, it has it's charm behind it. As long as you can tolerate the slightly colder temperatures.

Though everyone here agrees Flemish Belgium technically does more or less count as the shitty part. To this day, making fun of their traffic is a private sport.
