>The IRS allows criminals to report their income tax from crimes
so you can just admit to the IRS that you do crimes and has long as you pay your criminal taxes they won't care?
Anonymous United States No.213610826 >>213613485
it's to give them another way to catch you. if they can't get you on the actual theft or whatever, you get booked for tax evasion for not reporting your stolen income. happened to al capone

They IRS is very funny. At one point they had tax stamps for illegal drugs. And just a few years ago they declared any stolen merchandise that's not returned within a fiscal year must be paid taxes on at it's current market value.

And they're very sloppy about it it's hilarious.
>We know drugs are sold by weight sometimes, but sometimes they're sold by doses. Idk just pay your taxes or we'll raid your house or kill your dog.

According to liberals, illegals gave their names and adresses to the IRS.

tax department really only care about tax. but here they can and will regularily if you run a business or self declared tax income show up and ask for the reciepts and book records to see if you declared it correctly. in reality they are not so much after you but want to see if the numbers you declared are the same as the ones from the individuals or businesses you did business with? maybe they didnt declare it at all? or reported it completely different? the big fishes for them is not the small business guy who do a "mistake" now and then but the big corps who constantly screw everyone over.

This sounds like it's for entities that possess licenses for these kinds of substances. Usually they are labs or universities.

Its so they can bust criminals for tax evasion.

Most illegals don't make enough income to pay income tax.

But they do pay sales and property (indirectly) tax.

No. Also very very few universities get a DEA license to experiment with illegal drugs, even fewer individuals.

why catch them for tax evasion ? isn't undeclared income enough ?
how is it tax evasion if they are going to pay that tax ?

Its pointless and a waste of resources to prosecute illegal immigrants for undeclared income.

Either you want them gone and you just deport them or you don't and you just tolerate it.

They're really just grasping at straws. IRS are actually what they call "mandatory reporters" as well. If you say "here's the money for my illegal activity" they're going to report it to the appropriate agency and they actually have to.

There have been a few infamous criminals that have been charged with tax evasion instead of what they're actually doing but those are few and far between. Usually feds get you before the IRS does.

Pretty sure they only mean tax avoiders and not like cartels and shit.
