Nah Greek gyros in pita is pretty different from kebab in my experience.
Different bread and generally also different fillings and sauce.

Döner is german
Anyway it's a throw between Syria and Turkey, they are the goats at saucing the bread perfectly and the meat tastes like real meat

real working people food
shawarma is almost pretentious, weird flavours, pickled radishes and what not, you'll need 3-5 portions
never tried authentic mexican food, but i am sure its the best, no homo
