There are two countries in the world where Americans are allowed to live in basically indefinitely without any visa. Do you know what they are?

The answer will surprise you

nope

looks like Americans can stay in Israel for 90 days but even for "visa free" it requires that you buy a travel authorization

ok I mean there are a lot of countries where an american could live without ever being kicked out

but LEGALLY
there are two countries where americans can stay visa free for a year, and it resets if you step out of the country for a single day, meaning that americans can stay there basically permanently.

Nah, I'm actually a UK citizen and Permanent Resident in Brazil (ignore flag, here on holidays) and have to keep my paperwork in order with the police at all times or else my ass is getting fined, deported, etc.
Brazilian bureaucracy is very proactive in making sure you suffer if they have a reason to make you suffer.

My dad works with cattle so we have lived in Brazil since I was a baby, I grew up there and everything. Came to Australia to work with cattle myself lmao, but I'm on the "Work Holiday" visa the Aussies offer, which allows Britons to stay in Aus for 3 years.
Right now I'm working as a 'Jackeroo' at the cattle station of a family friend, learning the trade so to speak.

Migration isn't that hard anyway. You just have to get a job here. And then after 5 years you get citizenship.

they’d be neat to visit but why would you want to stay there indefinitely. any american that speaks armenian or georgian probably moved out of those places to begin with

just don't keep any paperwork and you are fine.
illegals are allowed to have a CPF, which is needed for many everyday activities such as opening a bank account, signing contracts, buying properties or getting a job.
also, public healthcare system is universal and free, and it is open to everyone in the country, regardless of nationality or immigration status.
i work for the government and conduct audits, asking if illegals were well treated in the hospitals where they had surgery.
when they find out I work for the government the poor bolivians panic, but no one cares, no one gives a crap about illegals here, and no one is deported (even criminals such as ronald biggs)

Yes, Portuguese is my first language alongside English since I grew up speaking both since before I was even 1 or 2 years old.
My English accent is all fucked because of my dad's influence mixing with my Brazilian friends' and with American media. I mostly sound like an American to Brits and Aussies, but with lots of slipups that make me sound "off" to Americans and Canadians themselves. Spending months in the bush working exclusively with real rural Aussies has also fucked up my accent a fair bit more- I can only pronounce "Hilux" the Australian way now lmao

Yeah Australia is fucking great, but the bush and cities are basically different worlds entirely. I didn't like Brisbane all that much, but I love waking up in the red dirt and seeing fucking 20 kangaroos hopping along the sunrise as I drive a gigashitbox Land Cruiser with a broken speedometer to work at 6 in the morning. Pic related from when we were mustering a paddock at sunrise.
I always sound unnatural recording shit on Vocaroo plz don't laugh https://voca.ro/15WvscjR4ujm
In Brazilian Portuguese we usually say "Hee-lux" so I was used to that.

it's just for a few words here and there lol, my manager (he's from Mt Isa) has an accent so thick that even other Aussies I work with, most of which are just 18-19 year old guys from Victoria or something, sometimes can't understand him. Having to communicate with him over the radio during musters is a real baptism by fire of Australian English.
