Where is the planned economy in fascism? Where are the nationalized means of production in fascism?

Fascists copied the bolsheviks in their aesthetics but thats about it.

Fascism was/is a movement of the middle classes, segments of the working class and lumpenproletariat. Mostly of the middle class.

They lash out against "big business" only because they themselves have diminutive capital. But above all, fascists hate the working class. Fascism in real life meant the destruction of trade unions and independent working class politics.

The fascist government was anti-parliamentary and the only democratic vote they ever held was to dissolve the party and remove Mussolini.

But in all honesty, probably the same outcome we got, but more drawn out. There's
>Not fully being able to core Libya, Abyssinia, Eritrea, or Somaliland.
>Sending too much support to Franco in Spain and leaving the military drained of the best equipment it planned to already have by the time the Spanish civil war ended.
>Failing in Egypt.
>Failing against Greece.
>Having rival ambitions with France and Britain, and probably still going to war with them inevitably.

On the other hand, there's
>Invading Albania successfully.
>Not supporting invading the USSR.
>Regia Marina collaborating with Soviet Navy.

Not an exhaustive list, but the point is the cards were still against him. All examples listed involve the thought of fascism somewhere in their planning and execution.

This is honestly one of the most hilarious blunders for a military campaign I've read about, and everyone should read about it. Especially since the Greeks pushed the Italians back to the point where half of Albania was taken by Greece despite fighting with barely any supplies.

yo dont get this. Greek generals and politicians were bribed and the "invasion" was supposed to be a walk . The same scheme worked fine in Albania, so they guessed it would work the same for GReece. But greeks took the money but fought back, so mussolini was forced to divert armies from north africa to greece and it took time. by the time germans invaded the situation was stabilized and it was just matter of time before the greeks were defeated. actually the german invasion was an anti italian act, to prevent italy to gain itw own victory

It really is, and it's a shame is not talked about more here in Italy because it really shows the level fo incompetence and idiocy that the regime had in those that were considered his "peak era". It really demolish the whole idea that fascist Italy in the 30s was a paradise where everything was working like a clock and the authoritarian state was efficient as fuck.

I miss the reason why a world War starts in Europe when there's no Hitler around.

>>213622678
Fascism is not an ideology, or if it is, it's so loose and unclear about his main points that it's very hard to describe what's it about even today. Mussolini wanted it this way, thinking that this whole foggy unclearness would make fascism more "fluid" and he could modify its core principle depending on what was more suitable for him at the moment.
That's why he never wrote a Big Rule Bookโ„ขof fascism, like for example Mao did with the red book or even Hitler with the Mein Kampf, and he only ever talked about fascism in newspapers articles and big gatherings in Rome. He wanted it this way, because Musso was the first one to know that Fascism as an ideology stans on extremely shaky ground. There's really nothing behind it, apart for the "we hate communists, but capitalists also bad! Also military march rules"
