Tamil Nadu was and is more advanced, civilized, educated, and richer than those from the northern provinces, but the northerners are the ones that look down on and discriminate them. They impose their backwardness upon them, and their ugly language, too. The dravidian dominant provinces really should break away and instead form some kind of EU or ASEAN kind of thing. From my experience, after moving to the south; They are much more polite, don't swear as much, can hold decent conversations. Keralites and Tamil people especially.
