I think I dream and fantasize every night about two things:

I have often thought since being a child about being able to astral project while I'm sleeping, and basically fly around watching people and seeing what they're up to, while they obviously can't see me. Then I also had the idea of being able to possess people this way, and either try and live the lives of other people for the novelty of it, or just do whatever I wanted without any fear of consequence. Or even just to copilot them, experiencing their lives firsthand without interfering with their autonomy, like in Being John Malkovich. Obviously that's quite dark and it probably says something about me that this is what my childhood imagination was preoccupied with, but it would be a cool ability to have nonetheless. Just being able to fly around at night without risk of injury would be good enough. There are people convinced astral projection is real so maybe I should give it a go one day.

Stopping time and Invisibility.

Maybe shapeshifting. I'd show lookism that me being handsome but autistic still makes me an incel.

Every time I die I go back in time to any point in my life that I want.

In my case, though, it's not as much a fear of death as it is just a hunger to know everything.
When I was a child I daydreamed about being inmortal and every time I died I would take the shape of a person in a random place and time period in history that I wanted. That way I could have lived to experience all the cultures, all the possible ways of living.
The limits of what the human experience can offer.
But I prefer this idea more because I can at least keep my identity a little bit longer, and I don't need to steal another person's body.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I was also very much just imaginative as a child, but I was also thinking about these sorts of things in my spare time all throughout high school, and I still do occasionally to this day. If I was being cynical I could say that a lot of this behaviour comes from me being quite antisocial by nature and introverted as a kid. I did a lot of maladaptive daydreaming instead of aspiring to get a gf or improve my standings in the social hierarchy at school, I just didn't care all that much about that stuff.
Don't think I'm being dramatic or anything though, I had a normal childhood and was well liked, its just I spent a lot of time in my room is all. It's probably unhealthy to dwell on your own psychology like that too so don't think you ought to either lol

I often think about that too, though I didn't used to. I bet that it's a common fantasy. Another one for me is being able to make people forget and remember certain things at will, and being able to do the same to myself. I bet that is a fairly common fantasy too. I guess all power fantasies are fundamentally the same.

Yeah It's probably more common than I thought. I have definitely thought a lot about getting people to forget you. I also had an idea about a magical mask I could wear that would make people unaware of me being there - not invisible, just unable to comprehend my presence. So say I bumped into someone, they wouldn't start freaking out about a ghost, they would just be unaware anything even happened. Also the same effect would happen with people observing video footage of me, they wouldn't be able to comprehend what was on the screen, or maybe even the footage itself distorts, whatever. All of this is just a mental exercise to be able to facilitate me being able to do whatever the hell I wanted. For example, I would just walk into shops/restaurants and take whatever I wanted instead of paying for it, I would sleep in hotels for free and no one would bother me, I could steal a car to get around without any repercussions, etc. And when I was done playing God and I wanted to live normally again I would just go home and take the mask off, and itd be like nothing ever happened.
