can you imagine the seething from the US if EU would prefer China more in every domain and not trade at all with the US and trade basically everything with China?

More likely we'd just be involved in a lot more proxy wars across the third world trying to force weaker nations back into our sphere of economic influence

I think that's the most optimistic future scenario.
EU+China split Russia and then we embargo the usa from trading with anyone, end the usd, and ultimately morgenthau plan them into an agricultural country so that they won't have the ability to start wars all over the world
