What causes this demographic pattern?
In Finland the replacement rate for Russians is 40%. For Finns 60% and for Fenno-Swedes 90%.

possibly most Russians in Finland are well educated young professionals with a liberal mindset living in big cities, such people are the last ones to ever have children
children are mostly produced either by village people or by very poor people in the cities or by very rich people who live in mansions and Russians in Finland most likely do not belong to any of these groups

also, another reason might be just that there is demographic imbalance in the Russian population in Finland, like there is a surplus of men or that Russian women prefer to breed with non-Russians but rather with Finnish guys, so their children aren't already counted as Russians

Finland is so strange every minority that goes there gets apocalyptic fertility levels pretty sure asians are at like 0.3 or something absurd like that in finland. Must be the friendly and welcoming finnish culture of happiness

All the Asians here are women married to Finnish men. And yeah, those kinds of couples don't really have a lot of children but it's not insanely low compared to countries like Thailand in general it's almost the same really.

This is not Finland-Swedes, this is foreigners ie citizens of Sweden who live in Finland.

Finland-Swedes on the upper west coast have a higher birth rate than Finns on average because they are rednecks and often rural. Rich Finland-Swedes in Helsinki area have cataclysmically low birth rates.

Finnish speakers: 1.32
Swedish speakers: 1.51

The higher fertility rate of Swedes has been constant for like a decade. It's all on the rural coastal areas ie. because Swedes are on average more rural and more religious despite the small more visible part of them that is rich in Helsinki.

No, people with Swedish as registered mother tongue have more babies. That's what fertility rate means.

This has been going on for a long time but the Swedish relative numbers are still dropping because they are slowly assimilating.
