You'll unironically grow out of it. While men of advanced age are still aroused by sexual content, gore only interests adolescents and young adults neurochemically. It makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint. The whole point is to familiarize oneself with human anatomy and possible accidents and you can only do this so much.
