Most Arabs in the U.S came around the same time as Jews and Italians, especially from Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. Most of them settled in industrial cities in the Midwest and Northeast, especially the suburbs of Detroit and New York City. They're basically on the same level as Italians/Jews/Greeks, and about half of them are Arab Christians that fled from sectarian violence in the Ottoman Empire. So they're chill and as American as apple pie.
Younger Arab immigrants mostly live in New Jersey, but I haven't heard much about them and they seem chill despite occasional Islamist shenanigans.
