At least we don't have Black trannies in our Ubislop vidyas or however the culture war is manufactured. Praise Israel by the way.

>1kg steak
>45bucks
here 1kg steak is around 30EUR
>household income New York: 125k
>household income Nether: 82k (gross)
So they have 50% more income and the price is 50% more. Actually they have much lower taxes, so that price is a steal. People do not understand inflation and think bc price went up 100% in 10 years that the price is much more when it may have actually decreased

food is overpriced here too, especially stuff that is produced locally by subsidized farmers
as long as companies get away with selling everything at a massive mark up they're going to keep doing it

Depends on where you live, I'm >>213692261 in the suburbs. I'd imagine if you're in NYC, LA or Chicago that could maybe be understandable.

I don't think Dutch household income is a great metric to go by. Idk if you're converting euros to dollars in the process as well.

In this country the income of one is rather irrelevant, it's more relevant if someone got into housing early with 1.5% interest mortgaging. This country is run like a ponzi / pyramid scheme really. Not sure why leftie social democrats are still crybabying about income inequality because there is very little in the Netherlands thanks to how income taxes work here. There is however HUGE inequality when it comes to interest payments, loans, housing etc.

At this point, you might just take butchering classes at the local technical college, buy a cow, and cut it your own. $40 for 1.83lbs of NY strip is fucking highway robbery

Netherlands is a dream if you have a nice detached house financed prior to 2022 interest hikes. Otherwise I'd recommend moving to another country, there is no future here if you're a native.
