They made the COE in 2 weeks and the visa in 4 days
But I was job hunting for 3 months while in Russia

>>213697708
Yeah, staying here for a few days just to hang out and then I'll go to my work destination (Okinawa)

Gotta go grab something to eat and to drink, I haven't got any strength to do chores and stuff. I saw a komeda on the way here, maybe I'll go there for a tea after I have dinner somewhere. I'd like a negitama gyudon from sukiya but I didn't see any of their shops nearby. I'd just eat takoyaki but that's not food.

I was actively looking for a job that provides a COE at gaijin-oriented work websites. I don't recommend gaijinpot unless you just wanna be an English teacher, but daijob and nextinjapan actually have normal good jobs.
I have JLPT N1 and work experience in a large Russian company so it helped.

Hey I'm back
Anonymous Japan No.213700825
I was walking around the neighborhood looking for a place to have a nice dinner at and stumbled upon yayoi ken. It's a nice cafe with typical Japanese food
Anonymous Japan No.213700923 >>213701399
And here's my first meal in Japan since I was 17
I took karaage set. These Japanese set meals are like a sort of puzzle where you have to figure out in what order to eat everything to get the best taste combinations.
Here's how I ate it:
1) dip karaage in mayo, take a bite
2) sip beer
3) eat the cabbage
4) eat the rice
5) drink miso soup
And repeat this exact sequence. After I finished it all, I ate tofu as a palate refreshener (divided it into 4 pieces, one bite of tofu and then one sip of beer)
After the last bite of tofu I made the last sip of beer and left very satisfied

Anonymous Japan No.213701690 >>213701792
>>213701399
1300 yen so around 700 roubles
But also you have to account for the fact that yayoi ken is a relatively popular chain, after that I was walking around tha hood and saw some bars that sold beer for 190 yen a pint and yakitori for the same price for a skewer. Eating out can be really cheap in Japan if you know the right places

After dinner I bought a can of otoko ume sour which I wanted to try for a long time. It was nice, tasted like a mildly sweet plum candy, but despite the mere 5% abv I could still taste the alcohol in it. Also I thought it would not be sweet at all, but overall it was ok

And since I really NEED tea I went to komeda and got a teapot of some Japanese black tea and a dessert called kuroneige meaning black snow. It was a chocolate baumkuchen with soft ice cream on top, it was nice but I didn't really want it, I didn't know that they give you free sweet nuts when you order tea so next time I'll just get the tea. The tea was very good

The fuck
My luggage was locked on a padlock which I bought specifically. I just opened it and found a paper in there that says:
>sorry for opening your luggage!
>t. chinese security service

I noticed that the lock opens poorly but I thought it's just a shitty lock. Turns out the Chinese picked it, looked at my shit and locked it back the same way I put the lock on. Crazy fucks

in what ways living in Japan is better?
Russia sounds comfy as hell if I don't get conscripted. surrounded by beautiful snow angels. you don't even need to fake laugh when you work with other people and you can just be yourself because Slavic people don't fake laugh.
Honestly what made you so dissatisfied in Russia?
