It's "illegal" (not) because the law was made before and any man has the right to deny his paternity even if she child is his. I have a cousin who doesn't bear my name because my uncle refused to recognize his paternity (although it's very likely his, but he wanted to separate with the woman). You have six months to decide and it's expired. Now if some cuck discovers that's his child is not his, he can still find a way to annul his obligations but he'll have to jump through some legal hoops because the law is as I described it

True, but at the cost of the child. Environment plays a big role in a child's upbringing and we know that the couple's relationship is permanently damaged and is gonna be filled with mistrust and arguments, so you gotta ask is it really worth it? They're most likely not gonna last, but if they do manage to patch things up then good for them, but the damage is done and something like cheating doesn't just disappear. She's always gonna be questioning him. So cheaper? Yes, but is the money saved really worth it?
