The British and Saudis were very closely allied historically, the main reason they control so much of the peninsula is because they were able to take advantage of the power vacuum of collapsing Ottoman influence in the region and conquer the Ottomans regional Arab vassals with British backing. They were even nominally a British protectorate. So from the British perspective they did control the land, and never had any reason to annex it directly until oil was discovered by which time decolonization was in full swing.

Savoy and Nizza didn't have any sense, they were provinces that already had very little italian population left, savoy especially was never that Italian.
Same with Corsica, sparsely populated and already too French to annex it easily.
AH offers were simply too dumb compared to what the Entente was offering: south Tyrol, which would have locked definitely the Alps corridor and create a "chain" of mountains around north Italy, and Istria/Trieste/Fiume that were also quite poor lands, but with a string Italian population that wanted to become part of Italy (or at least, that's what some of them thought) while people in savoy, nice and Corsica were very lukewarm about the idea to say the least.
