I liked world cups when I was a kid because because back then I associated them with being carefree because they were during the summer when there was no school and I had nothing better to do. But now that I'm a wageslave I couldn't care less about sports especially with how increasingly corporate and americanized everything is becoming. The club world cup was the saddest shit I've ever seen

2014 was the first world cup i wached, i remember buying the book where u buy the pack with stickers, i plead my mom to buy me a whole package of a bunch of envelopes and she did, and when i got messi, i got really exicted and talked about it with my classmates, i watched the final in a water park, everything was so much better when i didnt know what targeted individual or blackpill means

I honestly just watch it because a lot of people do so it's a social event, couldn't really care less about who wins. Would be cool to see Bosnia-Croatia-Serbia do well but realistically all three teams are most likely pretty dogshit rn with big flaws. Maybe I'll enjoy hatewatching france and hope they get shit on, beyond that don't care much.
