Each time I read something coming out of the UK like this I stop to think how they got like this. They have really become political lab rats, Canada is supposed to be progressive but I'm still shocked each time I read what's going in England.

It is doing somewhat fine. I dislike the current state of it, for a whole other set of reasons, I don't think it is good for a lot of people. It makes people who are doing good at things lazy and discourages people who aren't doing so well from studying. I think that it should turn it focus into developing something that I would call intellectual self-stem, curiosity and study skill instead of focusing on covering a determined set of subjects.
