I think your post is misinformed and also dangerous. I've been taking benzos for many years and my life has improved tremendously as a consequence of that. Of course the medication is not the whole picture, I've also done many things by myself and improved myself through several other means, but medication is very much a part of My success and I have come to realize that I just need medication to live well and to be able to do the things that I need to be doing. Some people don't, but I do.

It just helps you concentrate and focus. Like when you had hyper focus moments when playing vidya as a teenager. At first there is some rush / euphoria although for me after years of near daily consumption I don't feel it anymore. I would describe it as a sad coke, I used it mostly for coding at first (I could do 72 hours sessions) but then I guess I "abused" it although it's mildly recreational at best. 4F-MPH lasts very long compared to regular MPH, the first time you won't be able to sleep at night even if taken at 12:00 unless a very small dose. On higher doses it's very physical like your heart will go pound like crazy and not recreational at all so it's kind of "safe" because there is no point to take huge doses. If you work you should beware cause you probably won't wake up (happened to me several times), once I was expected at 8:00 and woke up at 16:00. Not very addictive as a whole I stopped taking it one day to the other after like 3-4 years and didn't crave

Idk man, I just don’t think the majority of shrinks know what they’re doing. And the lack of responsibility on their end is frightening. I’d like to talk to someone but I don’t want to risk having them alter my thoughts and action for the worse only to feel better. Not to mention what I already mentioned, the baggage that comes with diagnosis and the clusterfuck that I believe can ensue through medication.
