Eh, it depends. I wouldn't recommend drinking any tap water in third world without boiling it first or just go for bottled water. You probably had a very sanitary lifestyle from infancy and your immune system is not battle hardened, as opposed to Ranjeet who grew up swimming in and drinking from Ganghes. Nothing fazes him while just drinking tap water makes you sick.
