And just like that, US companies found their in to replace US truckers without the need to bring in illegals: Have them control the trucks remotely from the country they were deported to, to train the AI that the company is trying to replace the deported with.

Thinks this is Tesla or Waymo. China is so far ahead of the West in Autonomous self-driving that is not even on the same playing field.

Xina won, it's over bros, we will never catch up with them, the game was rigged from the start, we can just stop doing anything and simply wait for death as nothing makes sense anymore.

and? it's like saying that because AI gave funny and stupid results in 2023, it should have been deemed useless and abandoned

every error will be fixed and in several years they will just run perfectly everywhere

and even with these problems like getting stuck on bumps, it's still way cheaper to use them than to employ human drivers

And in those "several years" how many will die due to their shit software?
The Chinese government truly does not give a single fuck about their citizens.

There are a lot of those kind of truckers too, it is still one of those blue collared jobs like construction where the companies are trying to get as cheap labor as possible.
>>213737254
Its the logical conclusion of eventually automating everything, ontop of dodging local protections of workers, along with what is currently happening with the mass deportations.

it's insane how China is already living 300 years in the future yet they still use all their potential for peaceful development of their economy rather than warmongering and conquering the world
how can you not appreciate the Chinese civilization?

>China: Fewer than 10 deaths from EV fires (based on available reports).

>United States: Over 16,000 deaths from gun violence.

>The contrast is stark. While EV fires in China are a growing safety concern, they are not remotely comparable in scale to the public health crisis of gun violence in the U.S.

Self driving vehicles driving on highways, stopping for pedestrians and traffic lights is what? 10mb of code if even that? Gta 1 did this in 1997. The difference in China is they don't have to worry about the edge case where the truck accidentally runs over 5 people because they won't get sued and jailed for it, their government will just say it happens because the average chink is worth nothing even in their own country
