For Russia in my case it would be the people, the language, the food, history, culture, weather, geography, cities, arts and prices. I hate the sun and warm weather in no small measure so Russian winters are heaven to me and the summer tho hot do get very rainy. The language is both beautiful and cool, the cities have great cafes and night life, great architecture (both Imperial and Soviet), people are very friendly but behave in public, they make awesome music, and you eat good while there. Tho I will admit one of my fav things isn't technically Russian (шaypмa) but I am convinced the best ones are all there, the ones here aren't even the same dish and suck. I miss Russia like an alcoholic misses the bottle, except it did me good. I try not to think about it but I just can't not be reminded of that magical place where everything is (in my eyes) so rightly proportioned, long for it it pains me in my chest; it's like a part of my soul has been ripped out and there is stayed. I want back, I am even considering joining the SMO I don't even care if I die in day 1, I just don't because I love Russians and there I'd essentially be killing Russians

My experience with Russians is that they were not friendly at all. I'm surprised they treated you well since you're from Chile. In my experience they were very racialist and uninteresting. They had nothing to say about themselves outside of their race and racial problems.

They think Argentinians are white, and they think I'm white so I doubt "Chilean" nationality would be a hinderance. The only Chileans they know, if they know any, are Pinochet and Allende both being white. I was watching a Russian vid on Pedro Pascal the other day and even saw a comment that said he looked "like us" or something to that effect. I think you'd have to actually look really not white in order for that to be the case. But even then I would be surprised, they only seem to be racist towards "churkas".
