Polls are absolutely meaningless unless the exact question that was asked is specified in its exact wording, and to which populations these questions were presented to. If no such information has been presented then its likely rigged.
For example you can have a survey asking 10 year olds whether the sky is blue, 99% of them would answer "yes", then publish an article about how 99% of americans think space isn't real.
