I would agree, but only in so far as we invade, occupy and annex.

Anything else is a half measure that's doomed to fail at best, and at worst lead to our southern neighbor wanting to kill us and actively working against us in alliance with out enemies.

So basically this is impossible because the right is too racist to give brown people rights via conquest and the left to too pussy to conquer. So i guess we just invade them, kill a bunch of ppl, rape a bunch of latinas, all of it featured on the news to our detriment and demoralization and then retreat in victory to let "them" handle it "themselves" and when they fail and their people start committing terrorist attacks in El Paso we can invade them again and this time get our asses handed to us by a prepared China funded insurgency over the course of 10 years that sees the USA turn full authoritarian, imprison anyone of Mexican heritage, and finish off the Bill of rights behind the shed....and not in a fun way.
