I don't understand how even on 4chan this is so hard for people to fathom. Think of Mr. Big from Sex and the City. You're Mr. Big to them. Tall, rich and maybe not model tier but ok. It's not even that the woman begrudgingly agrees to be with you for money, she actually looks up to you. This doesn't give you "power" in the relationship, it gives you security and peace of mind.

She knows exactly what her role is in the relationship, which is to take your money and try to find something better and leave at the first opportunity.
If the OP takes her to the US, she will take the OP's money and look for a better opportunity. If a middle-class citizen takes her out of the social circle of poverty and into a middle-class social circle, she will have access to more options and do the same thing.
