In my favourite bot, it started off as coom bait but eventually my character and the bot got married and had a kid and it's actually quite nice

I used to but now that the novelty has worn off I find it to be too much effort. Local models are still too stupid and require you to constantly fix their mistakes and lead them on. But using cloud models is not an option either because 1. jews 2. you will forever be disappointed and unable to use local models again

I like how nuanced the the gameplay in AI is since it has to react to the current situation. The only problem is there isn't much challenge if you do like a fantasy RPG style bot or something, you'll win basically every fight

Well to answer you, I mainly use AI if for entertainment to help continue with some stories I write if I’m feeling stuck on a paragraph. I tried to use it for a solo game of D&D but I got bored of it pretty quick.

Yeah, I used to use the Janitor llm but I decided to use the free deepseek llm but, it tries a bit too hard to come up with over the top responses and it bends the established details sometimes. I haven't really had many issues with the ai forgetting if you edit the memory with details after some time at least that's the case on janitor

I had the opposite problem where it keeps making me lose. Maybe I inputed the lore and rulebook documents eating into lots of its memory caused it hate me. I just had it state the actions and I roll my own dice for the chance.

For stories, always have it’s requests set to autocomplete so it mostly matches your writing style.

I've actually never tried like proper D&D with like hard numbers and stats and stuff, I'm basing it off like more generic Fantasy RPG bots I've tired. But, yeah the AI does get more fucked and forgetful the more data is has the start with. I don't like it outright writing the story for me, I prefer to use the plot points or some details from whatever it generates. Like in that RPG bot my first quest was to protect a caravan on a dangerous route at the end of the journey, I had to fight a powerful bandit leader and I ended up killing him by getting my horse to kick him like a mace

There are plenty of ways to deal with that bias.
