You have no right to complain about immigrants as a western European
I've been to Sarajevo for the first time in 15 years and without exaggeration, I've heard more Arabic being spoken than Serbo-Croatian
They may not permanently reside here, but there's definitely more of them
And before someone drops the cliché /int/ joke, no, those were not Bosnians I confused for foreigners - they're very recognizable, even the occasional fairer ones, they have very distinct facial features
I've never seen so many ethnics gathered in one place before, Baščaršija was bursting with dark people of short stature and weakly builts, their appearance - let's keep it respectful by just saying that their looks do not conform to eurocentric beauty standards... people of modest beauty, to say the least
Tiny microcephalic heads that make you question whether 19th century racial anthropologists were onto something with their assumptions about skull shape, brain size and cranial capacity
Overweight midget-sized women entirely covered in burqas, you feel uncomfortable passing them by
The streets reeked with the unpleasant smell of greasy street food, something you'd expect in India or Afghanistan
Overall, it was a grotesquely Oriental experience
I'm a short man myself for my environment, standing at approximately 170cm, and also quite dark for local standards, but in their presence, I felt massive and towering
In fact the average blonde pre-teen girl might tower over them
All of it makes me appreciate the ethnic homogeneity of my small hometown more, it may be boring but it feels safe
All of which leads me to the question, why are Arabs only concentrated around Baščaršija? You never see them in other areas and municipalities
Are they afraid of churches and European-style buildings?
