I make Lohikeitto all the time in the winter. It’s become one of my favorite ways to eat salmon. I’m not Finnish but I’d love to try making more Finnish foods.

like i said, climate historically drives cuisines because of farming was easiest in the mediterranean. in finland you pick berrier and mushrooms, but you cant grow much in the fields
