Nothing wrong with my mother getting worried. But for the love of God don’t ask ChatGPT for fucking job offers. Normal people use job search websites and then go to dedicated company websites to look at the offers and do the applications. But my mom doesn’t know that. She thinks it’s still the boomer “walk in, give em a firm handshake, yata yata” and seethes when I tell her it’s not that simple anymore. She doesn’t even understand when I tell her half my applications get rejected by a bot even before a human sees them.
