Not even brazilians know. I only know hes an important person in Juazeiro do Norte - Ceará because its called the city of Padim Ciço.

It's very long, so i will just tell the important parts.
Basically, he was just a priest from the rural area of Northeast Brazil, who had visions of Jesus and the apostles coming to him telling he should take care of the poor people of the northeast, and so he did, he founded the village of Juazeiro do Norte in the state of Ceará and would eventually become it's mayor when he was banned from exercising his role as a priest, as i will explain in the next paragraph.
One day, a woman called Maria de Araújo, after consuming the host, started bleeding from her mouth, and it kept happening until Padre Cícero came to the conclusion it was a miracle, news got out, and everyone got crazy about it, and the church thought that Padre Cícero was manipulating the masses, and he was almost excomungated.
Today he is very venerated in the northeast of Brazil.

Why does Catholicism have a bunch of creepy stuff in it? Doesn't this impy that the wafer or whatever literally turns into a piece of Jesus's flesh in their mouth? Er......
