Your countryโ€™s leader and their party from exactly 30 years ago are back in power, and somehow the same age (and alive) as they were at the time.
Theyโ€™re in charge until 2030.
What will happen to your cunt? Would you prefer them to the current guys?

no, I don't think he would've been better than Merz now
he just had the luck of ruling during better circumstances
also he was involved in corruption

The last time the US ran a budget surplus was under Clinton. Bush fucked that up entirely with the wars in the Middle East.

Bill Clinton in 2025 would have just continued the ghoulish march of Reaganian neoliberalism. We should have just elected Biden in 2016

I remember this. "Making Finland a core EU country", "we are master diplomats so Finland will be bigger than its size in the EU" and "getting a seat at top EU talks".

Now we are a totally wrecked peripheral colony ruled by worthless puppets.

Considering our president mostly handles foreign politics and he supported EU/NATO, I think things wouldn't be that different in the big picture.

To some extent true, but the austerity measures in the late 80s/early 90s probably did more harm than good, made our economy even more centered on petroleum than it already was.

I'd say grim, but it would still be better compared to modern day subhumans. Then again, even stray dog's shit is better than our nowadays """politicians""", so it doesnt say much.

Yes I'm old. Ahtisaari came from nowhere as a surprise candidate with little history in Finnish party politics and instead a history with various Western NGOs in Africa etc.

The SocDem party got rid of its decades old master Kalevi Sorsa, most long time serving Prime Minister and top Kekkonen era Soviet bootlicker. He and the old pro-Soviet faction (Halonen, Tuomioja etc) were shocked.

1994 was the moment post-USSR when the SocDems switched from the KGB guy to the CIA guy. The old pro-Soviet farts had their revenge when they plotted to get rid of Ahtisaari and managed to prop up Halonen with tons of retarded women from even my right-wing family voting for "the first female President" only to get completely shocked that they voted for a Stalin loving commie that hated Winter War and Mannerheim etc.

The old KGB pro-Soviet farts in the end lost though so now we live in a CIA republic.

Countries invaded by America since 1985:
>Iraq (1991, 2003)
>Afghanistan (2001)
Technically speaking, arming the Contras and the Afghan mujahideen in the 1980s, bombing Sudan and Serbia in the 1990s, attacking Libya in 2011, bombing Syria in 2018, and bombing Iraq in 2021 and Iran in 2025 does not count as a full-on invasion, so technically Americans have not invaded any countries under a Democrat president and only under two Republican presidents (both coincidentally named "George Bush") during the past 40 years.

Do your research. Cold war era socdems were _the_ CIA party (like elsewhere in europe). KGB handled kepu. It's unbeliveable to me this still isn't in the public consciousness.
