the groom shouldnt act out or get drunk until the 3rd day of celebration and we usually only have 1 day weddings today, maybe 1 1/2 day.
he is basicly expected to leave the party to have non-stop sex with his wife after dinner, speeches and his waltz with his wife and if its a long ass wedding he can return and do stupid things on the third day.
this is old af traditions.

the last wedding i went too was full of white millennial somethings dancing to DJ hip-pop music in the deep south
as we are buzzkill teetotalling yanks that traveled far for this we where surprised
