I hated CS, my parents got divorced that year and I had to get a full time job because apartments are expensive, grandfather passed away, only friend passed away shortly after that too, so I was just too stressed and started failing classes and couldn't keep up with projects I figured rather than tank my gpa I should just withdrawal so I went to a student councilor and was able to fully withdraw without it affecting my grades and planned to go back later (which I did)

Texas is oil town and Texas is mostly hispanic. Chemical engineers make bucks in texas. You aint special buddy.
