and how is that wrong? we actually need institutionalized, stable rent options from corpos in this country
it's pain in the ass to rent a flat here because you always have to deal with individual owners, mostly boomers, who will charge you additionally for damaging their wardrobe from 1981 or will just kick you out if they see you inviting friends to your flat or have a cat or simply because their granddaughter is going to uni and needs this apartment for herself

in germany you almost always rent from big institutions and it's cheap and stable
