Why do shooters always "punch down", so to speak? It's always schools, retail stores, and other public areas full of random innocent people. What did they ever do to you? If I was going to do a shooting (WHICH I NEVER WILL DO, JUST TO ANYONE WHO MAY BE READING THIS) I'd at least try to go after some corporate headquarters full of rich yuppies or something of that nature. How has no one ever targeted a Google headquarters (DON'T DO THIS) or some other tech company? I'm sure these places have heightened security, but if you were to catch them off guard and go in guns blazing (THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT DO NOT DO THIS) surely you could cause some damage (WHICH WOULD BE A GREAT TRAGEDY) before they took you down.
