Pakistanis have lived in the UK since 1947 (and if we count residents of the pre-partition India then it would be 19th century) which is pretty much as long as Russians have lived in Latvia.

Urdu isn't even the majority native language in Pakistan (the country having none), nor even the plurality native language (that's Punjabi). It's just that Hindustani (no, I'm not going to pretend Hindi and Urdu are two different languages) is a lingua franca in the region for historical reasons.
