Why are UK and France considered winners in ww2? Their contribution to the victory was minimal, 86% of German soldiers died on the eastern front.

I used to disbelieve the kill claims of German WWII fighter aces against Russia but after seeing how Russia is performing in Ukraine, I now thing the numbers are too low.
