I have been the victim of a crime. I have lived my entire life in a wealthy 90% white neighbourhood. Next year I will be moving, as I do not have a job I will not be able to afford rent in a good neighbourhood so I will be moving to a high-crime ghetto. If anyone has any tips on how to survive please share them.

i've never been robbed or suffered violence. what I do is avoid going out on foot at night (if i need to go out, i use my car), and i avoid showing off my things (cell phone, watch, necklace, that kind of thing).

whats a ghetto means in your country? i can only picture trailer parks and shitty houses with km of red dirt from one another, use sunscreen I guess

Dont go out late or at night, Dont keep any valuables or bags visible in your car, Keep your wallet in your front pocket not in your bag pocket backpack or on the table, Close windows and fully lock your door not just closing it when you go out or at night, stay aware of you surroundings and maybe get some weapons for home defense and or carry
